Taking a look at other portable small scale milling devices is essential to the development of our own mill. The Shapeoko 2 is a great little machine that we hope to create to better understand the limitations of using a dremel tool as the cutting utensil. First off, Dan and myself found the open source files online. When we opened these files there was a problem with curves that were not connected. After these connections were made, Dan and myself will be handing off the files to Frankie to cut out the pieces. More updates as they come!
