what, when, and where surf blog postings

In Fall 2013 UWM Associate Professor Frankie Flood will be working on two projects with SURF students: an underwater SCUBA scanner rig AND a low cost, portable CNC milling machine/printer/scanner.

Students involved in these projects are:
SURF students (under the direction of Associate Professor Frankie Flood)
John McGeen (cnc team)
Dan Feldman (cnc team)
Aaron De Lanty (scanner team)

SURF students (under the direction of Associate Professor Nathaniel Stern):
Cherise Spor (scanner team)
Jasmine Kaur (scanner team)
Wyatt Tinder (scanner team)

This blog documents the projects conducted by UWM SURF program students under the direction of Frankie Flood. Flood's SURF students are required to log the number of hours worked per week (via a blog posting) as well as one blog posting per week that documents their work and describes their activities for the week. Students are encouraged to upload photos of their research/work. Students are required to write a cohesive blog posting that included pictures, links, and an adequate narrative that describes their work for the week. At least 30 minutes of your week should be set aside for posting your progress. Professor Flood will also post selected emails exchanged among the group in an attempt to convey pertinent information discovered during the research process.

An "Instructables" or "DIY How-To" blog posting format can be researched to further inform what you post here. Please use Arial for your text and normal for your font size.
