canon scanner: part location and critical dimensions

I modeled the Canon scanner that I had dismantled and located the necessary spacing and height for the critical components that the new case must contain in order for the scanner to function properly. I will begin to model the new case using these critical locations. For now I will just focus on the scanner components, but in the future I will need to make the additional room for batteries, raspberry pi, and connections between all of this. Look for a model of the proof of concept scanner case and maybe a crude prototype in the near future. I have several sheets of thick polycarbonate that I think I can use for milling the halves of the case, but I will save those for the prototype after next once we have combined more of the components necessary for a complete scanner.
